Georgia Magazine cover has arrived!

I received my copy of the Georgia Magazine that features my Costa Rica illustration and it looks great! (if I do say so myself). Besides the obvious reasons (graduating from UGA and having my former teachers and peers getting a copy), I was nervous about the reproduction of my illustration.

I don't know if it's my scanner, but I have trouble with 'blues' and 'greens' after taking pieces into Photoshop. Considering the illustration depicts a RAIN FOREST and SKY, there is no shortage of these colors on the cover.

I didn't need to worry though - the bushes and sky 'pop' from the cover. The jpeg on my site/blog doesn't look as good as the printed piece (and I can't say that often). The printer the Georgia Magazine uses ALWAYS does a great job though and I've been impressed since my student days working for the mag. After working for a printer for 4 years after graduation (and being constantly disapointed with the job we did.....) made me appreciate Georgia Magazine's printer even more.
