Down by the River

Thought I'd post a new cover I just wrapped up which is a little different than my usual work. Generally I'm asked to do fun, light-hearted, or even goofy illustrations - people running, falling, playing sports, etc. and rarely am I asked to tackle serious subjects.

This particular cover story is on the homeless problem in Columbia, SC. Thanks, Matt, for giving me a shot to try something different!
