2008 Kansas City Marathon medals

I was asked to do the 2008 Kansas City Marathon medals and t-shirt. This makes the third consecutive year I've had the opportunity to see my work worn by 6,000+ (sweaty) people.

This year there will only be three medals instead of four in years past. The 5k finisher won't get a medal (that should be an incentive to pick up your mileage!!!). The 'full marathon' is the only race that receives a diecut, color medal. The 'half-marathon' and 'marathon relay' versions are engraved on a circular medal w/ no color.

I'll start on the t-shirt in the next few weeks.

The marathon isn't until October so you have plenty of time to train!
