Illustration Friday - buzz

I didn't think I'd be able to do Illo Friday this week due to deadlines, but whatta-ya-know, for the second time in recent weeks, a job topic corresponded to the Illo Friday topic - buzz.
The illustration is for a story about a boy who sleeps with his Buzz Lightyear doll from the Toy Story movies. He's getting older, but still sleeps in his parent's bed. They're contemplating on how to put him into his own bed. The mother says she's is tired of hearing the doll talk throughout the night.

This really made me chuckle - great illustration
Thanks for the good laugh! Thisd reminds me of some feature recently on some talkshow where a 22 year old woman still sucked her thumb and slept with her tattered "blankie". Anyhow, a unique and funny take on Buzz Lightyear. Like your comicbook style too!
Excellent stuff! (This and the rest of your portfolio!)
Oh that's funny! I wouldnt know what to do if I heard that in the night. Might make for interesting dreams.
What's wrong with sleeping with my blankie? That, and my boo-boo monkey doll are the only things that keep me sane. Continuity in life is key. (Although my pacifiers are getting a little nasty).
