A werewolf and a mexican walked into a bar....
Yeah..it sounds like a joke, but I actually had to do an illustration for a 'weekly' on a short story about a Werewolf and a Mexican guy. I had one night to finish it and you see the final result. It's a little too 'comic book' for me, but I do like the Werewolf's face.
I had no size requirements and saw a scrap piece of illustration board so I made the illo fit it - hence the tall/thin format.
I did two versions: one with bloody paws/mouth and one without. Which do you like better?

Thanks for the comments. I agree the top (with blood) is a little more dramatic and makes the werewolf 'jump' out more from the background.
I would probably do the eyes more prominent as well....when I do these quick illos, I only loosely plan. There's usually some things (eyes and placement of Mexican's head) that I would change afterwards.
Just gotta keep getting better.
