coffee sketches

It's been a while since I set aside time to sketch at the coffee shop. Me losing my nice Montblanc pen (#$#%$%$$@!!!!!) over Christmas didn't help either. I don't really like taking quill pens/ink to places because that can get messy sometimes.

Anyway, I been getting 'tight' with my work lately and thought I needed to losen up. Here are some quick sketches. Enjoy.

I think you should post an ad on ebay to see if someone will give you a pen. You could write a very sad story about a starving artist, who would rather have a pen than a hamburger. Might work. Where are the coffee cups. I want to see a portrait of some coffee cups.

I do need a nice fountain pen, but it's also a lot of money to drop at once. I keep checkin' and biddin' on ebay to see if I can win one at 'my price.' (i.e. - CHEAP!)

Coffee cups are too hard to draw. Way to round. That shape gives me trouble.
