'regret' issue

WHEW!! I've had a busy holiday break! Lucy and I flew from KC to ATL on Dec. 21 and will be staying with the parents until Jan. 2nd. I didn't pack much and figured I'd be spending most of my time bouncing between visting the family and friends, eating, and opening gifts. That's until I got an email from The Stranger on Friday afternoon.....seems they needed 6 illustrations for their annual 'regret' issue by Tuesday (Dec. 27) at noon. On Friday and Saturday, most of the days were spent having family gathering so I couldn't get anything done. I finally started on Monday and spent most of the next 24 hours inkin', scanning, then coloring! The Stranger has given me some nice jobs to work on in the past and this one was the largest yet!...BUT it was tough doing 6 illos on short notice with NONE of my art supplies, using my parent's dinosaur computer and small scanner, AND balancing Christmas parties!

But I got 'em finished and these three were my favorite ones!!!
