New Times Takeover

The Stranger emailed and needed a quick, overnight illo. The article is about the New Times company buying out other 'independent' weeklies including some of the largest ones like the Village Voice and Seattle Weekly. The problem w/ this is like any other large company owning a majority share in a field: How will the opinions reflected in each publication be 'independent' when one company ownes them all?
