Illustration Friday (reflection)

I decided to use Illustration Friday to help with my political illos again. Also, I'm pretty tired of drawing Bush and company so why not mix it up a little. The word of the week is 'reflection'. The first thing that comes to mind is vampires and their lack of a reflection. Why vampires?...dunno.....
First, I hate gas-guzzlin' SUVs!!!!! But....I hate our dependance on Middle Eastern oil even worse! I know there's multiple reasons the cost of fuel has skyrocketed in recent months, but I decided to poke fun on the folks at the start. Can't wait for the day when that changes (probably when everyone is 'forced' to use alternative fuel sources).

Ah...you don't hold back! I love your style...the drawing itself says it all so well that the viewer really doesn't need the caption. Good job:>

Hey J,

Good work. Just remember that as long as the Chinese and Indians are willing to buy gas at $60+ from the Saudis, Venezuelans and Iranians and our politicians refuse to explore in 2,000 acres of ANWR or Oil Sands of Western Canada the prices will stay up. It'd do good if we eliminated the federal gas tax and convince the states to lower their taxes we'll have these problems. As for the SUVs, you know how I roll. Our as the song goes "Roll on Big Mama."

Anyway, keep up the great work.

Thank you everyone for the replies.

Carla - I was unsure of adding the caption. Is everyone familiar w/ vampires not having a reflection?

Mustashrik - thank you for remarks. You also have an idea for detail!

Rowantree - THANKS

atomicvelvetsigh - you CAN draw like anybody..just practice. I truly believe underestimate what they can do..that goes for education, athletics, and even art.

AravisArwen - I've toyed w/ that idea as well. and thanks!
